Wassu-UAB Foundation is scaling up its Methodology of knowledge transfer in cascade to Kenya and Tanzania, following the agreements and MoU signed in 2012. Two new manuals have been published for the Management and Prevention of FGM/C for Health Professionals and students. The 10 modules of this manual have been integrated in the academic curriculum and will be implemented in the schools of Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery of Moi University in Kenya and Muhimbili, Kilimanjaro and Dodoma, in Tanzania. The aim is to train students and future health professionals to manage FGM/C consequences and prevent the practice in their professional activity.
